Hospital History

The Committee to Save Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital was formed to bring community awareness, support, and a voice to appose the closure and or reduction of services given at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital. Although there are promising signs the Cottage Health System is making some valiant attempts at maintaining the current hospital status and remain open, Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital's future is still uncertain. The Committee consist of different members of the community, employees, and community leaders who feel the survival of Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is vital to the community as its primary source of medical services.
